Based in Co. Meath, the BuildR team have an extensive knowledge of the construction industry and are proactive in researching and implementing advances in construction techniques, sustainability and environmental friendliness, ensuring that our residential developments remain progressive and at the forefront of the Irish Housing Sector.
BuildR’s core business and expertise focuses on residential developments and over the last 3 decades our directors have developed of new housing estates and apartment developments in Rush, Navan, Dunshaughlin, Kells, Slane, and Carlow.
We also specialise in demolition and decommissioning and provide recycling, asbestos removal and land reclamation services.
At BuildR we recognise that fireproofing is one of the most important safety precautions which can implement during construction. Some of the fire protection solutions we offer include Intumescent Coated Batts, Mastic Seals, Pipe Collars and Firestop Cavity Barriers.
BuildR has extensive experience in delivering commercial units to meet our clients individual requirements. Our most recent retail projects include Marks and Spencer’s Navan, KFC Drogheda and KFC Wexford.

BuildR was formed in 2013, initially involved in the private and speculative house building and quickly moved to Commercial and Retail contracting. Since 2013, BuildR has successfully completed numerous projects right across the full spectrum of the construction industry. In doing so, the company has amassed a dedicated workforce of highly skilled and committed managers and a pool of the very highest calibre professional subcontractors in all trades and disciplines. BuildR prides itself on utilising the very highest skilled trade’s people and suppliers throughout Ireland to ensure that the end product is of the highest quality possible.
BuildR has developed from JMJ Contractors Ltd and has built its own reputation, expertise and knowledge. JMJ Contractors Ltd was founded in 1967 and was heavily involved in the development of the British Sector of North Sea Oil reserves, Flotta in Orkney and the Major oil terminal at Sullom Voe in Shetland. JMJ was firmly established as an international contractor with offices in Jordan, Iraq, Oman and Abu Dhabi.
BuildR has carried on this fine tradition which was established by JMJ Contractors Ltd. In this ever-changing climate within the construction industry, BuildR has for some time acknowledged the need for companies to be prepared to change with the demands of the market. This has involved constant re-training and research in order to meet the demands and desires of our clients. BuildR prides itself on its ability to construct any project that is required, no matter how complex. BuildR Project Management has always put the needs of the clients first and this has paid dividends through a large number of repeat orders.
